Mandated Reporter Training
All volunteers must complete the mandated reporter training each year. Directions to complete the training are available here. 

Background Checks 
All volunteers that work with players as coaches, assistant coaches, backup assistant coaches and team parents need to complete yearly background checks. Please make sure to register as a volunteer on our registration page. You will then receive a follow up email prompting you to complete necessary information for a background check .

Once the background check has been approved , and your mandated reporter training is completed, you will be able to work with players.

Practices can be scheduled for any of the Colonie elementary schools as long as schools are not closed for a holiday or vacation. There are also grass areas in Cook Park next to our Colonie Little League fields that may be used. These locations are pre-approved and covered by insurance. There is no reservation process, so please just be respectful of other teams and share the space.

Additional locations are not approved by insurance and may not be used.
Rec practices are not allowed to be held on Colonie Little League fields.
