On Monday, June 14th, the TECies took the field for their first playoff game against Star Roofing. Nathan Toms took the mound and was outstanding. Nathan threw 4 2/3 innings of shutout baseball and struck out 11. The offense took charge in the 1st inning scoring 4 runs. Dylan Jones, Max Jiampetti, Jake Hutton, Jason Hendrick, and Aaron Goessler had key hits. Nick Tirino and Max Jiampetti made great defensive plays!! Overall a great team effort!!! TECHIES WIN 7-1!!!!!!!!!
On Friday, June 18th, the TECies played their semifinal playoff game against AARS. Dylan Jones was our starter this day and he was fantastic! Dylan fired 5 shutout innings with 9 K's. The offense scored 5 runs in the 1st inning and never looked back. Nathan Toms led the offense with 2 doubles and a single and 3 RBI'S, but he was not alone. Dylan Jones and Nick Tirino had key hits. Sal Fusco and Jason Hendrick had back to back doubles, and Jared Johnson lined his 1st hit of the year! Congrats Jared!! TECHIES WIN 7-0!!!!
Monday, June 21st, the TECHies played in the Championship Game against True Green. Nathan Toms was again outstanding on the mound. He fired 4 2/3 shutout innings with 12K's! Nathan helped his cause with a triple and 2 singles. Sal Fusco came in to close out the game and was great. He and Ben Keller each had a double and Nick Tirino had 2 hits! Jake Hutton put the game away with a 2-run single in the 5th.
