The 9 yr old all star team has won their first two games.
They beat Tri Village National 11 -0 in 5 innings. David Gray struck out 11 batters and gave up only one hit in 4 1/3 innings. Jeff Nacastra and Devan Kruzinski finished up the one hitter. Jeff Canastra led the offense with 2 singles and a double.
They beat Tri Village American 10-0 in 4 innings. Ryan McGee pitched a 4 inning no hitter, striking out 5. The offense was led by Devan Kruzinksi's 2 singles, Jeff Canastra's single and double, and Collin Nicholson's 2 singles.
They play Pine Bush National Tues. 6/30/09 and complete pool play Monday 7/6/09 against Pine Bush American.

July 6
The 9 year old all star team defeated a very talented Pine Bush American team 10 to 0 in 5 innings to remain unbeaten in pool play.David Gray and Jeff Canastra combined to throw a 4 hitter striking out 8 batters. The offense was led by Jeff Canastra's 2 singles, Ryan McGee's 2 singles, Jordan Kocienski's 2 singles and David Gray's single and double. The team has not allowed a run in their first 3 games. They complete pool play Tuesday night against Pine Bush National at 6 pm at W. Albany.
July 10
The 9 yr old all star team completed pool play undefeated by beating Pine Bush National7 -5. Jordan Kocienski (5 K's in 3 innings) and Jason Andersen (6 K's no runs in 3 innings) handled the pitching duties. The offense was led by Ryan McGee's single and double and Kyle Lambert's single and double. They play the championship game Friday night at W. Albany at 6 pm. Hope to see a large crowd from Colonie.
